I hired Black Ladder to replace my 40+-year-old rear roof. The front had been replaced within the past 25 years, the rear needed some love. Luccas took the time to walk the property and gave me two quotes, one for the work I needed, plus an optional one for the whole roof. Both came in under the quote I received from other roofing companies. I only went with the rear quote because the front was still in good shape. His crew was on time and got right to work. They were respectful of the property, did an awesome job, and left my yard cleaner than it had been when they started. The roof looks great now! I will be referring Black Ladder to my friends in the future. I also will be considering them for any other work we may need to be done in the future. Great value, Great quality, Great attitudes!

We had an old roof and needed quick replacement in prep for winter and for insurance coverage eligibility. They also helped with all of our gutters including replacement and adding new ones. The group was super professional, quick yet detailed responses. Proposal was itemized with details, so really no surprises at the end. Completed the work on time and it was nicely done, with no mess left behind. We did asked multiple groups, overall this group came to the top based on value and professionalism. Appreciated the great work and would recommend for anyone looking for a similar project.
We couldnt recommend this company enough! The communication from the beginning to the very end was great. Pictures were sent while the roof was being worked on to show steps that had been taken and where they were in the process. When the roof was complete, Luccas came and walked around the perimeter of the house to ensure all debris was removed. He took care of the dumpster and ensured it was dropped off/picked up in a timely fashion. We appreciate all of the hard work him and his crew did!
Carlos responded fast to my request and was able to come the next day. He assessed the problem and was able to provide me with a temporary solution to prevent the rain water from coming inside the house and damaging the ceiling further; as it was supposed to rain all weekend. Carlos also gave us a fair price for the temporary solution; until we can work together to repair/replace the roof. Thank you Carlos for your help and assistance with my problem.
Luccas and his crew did a great job. Luccas himself came over the day before the installation for a walkthrough asking about plants that needed protection or special attention. Crew arrived at expected time and immediately began working. Entire roof was replaced and results are fantastic. They also did a great job cleaning after themselves. Not leaving anything behind, in fact I think our lawn and drive way looked cleaner than when they arrived. High recommend. Thanks again you guys!!

I highly recommend Black Ladder for any Roofing needs. They were prompt, engaging, and professional above all. They kept us up on any situations they ran into (I had a back part of the roof that had 4 layers of shingles!) and were fair and reasonable with their costs. Lucas is prompt, crew is hardworking and great. Roof was done with great care to the surrounding plants and shrubs around the house. We ended up doing 3 types: shingles, rubber and metal. All 3 came out great. When we got solar panels, the installers stated that the roof was very well done. They work on roofs all day and said the roof was great when they were working up there. I had a positive experience with my roof replacement from Black Ladder Group. They used the newest technologies in materials and were able to discover, repair and replace rotted sections during the installation process. I had both a tile and rubber roof replaced as well as new skylights installed.

Roof Replacement and Painting
These guys were amazing. They took great care of our property while replacing the roof. Protecting every small shrub and flower beds, using tarps and plywood to protect glass doors. When Paiting they used drop cloths everywhere. Thank you Luccas for taking care of our investment.

Black Ladder was responsive and able to repair our roof with new shingles. They were clear about costs and gathered all the information they needed before beginning. They were kind, gregarious, and cleaned up after themselves.
Professional and responsive. Replaced our roof and skylight in Cambridge. No more leaks! Above and beyond in terms of communication and making sure the job was done right (eg identified rotting fascia and replaced them).
Did the work properly. The best part - took care of the hundreds of nails which came out and removed them with care from the surroundings. Would recommend - for the overall value aspect.
